Monterey Bound!

Lifestyle

Monterey Car Week is one of the most prestigious automotive lifestyle events of the year. Located on the beautiful California Pacific Coast, the event includes car shows, cruise-ins, an automobilia expo, and auctions. The week culminates in vintage racing at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and the famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on the 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach Golf Links. Some of the rarest, most meticulously restored exotic vehicles most people will ever see will flood the streets of Monterey County.

Naturally, Gateway Bronco, builder of leading-edge Resto-Mod classic Broncos, will be well-represented at this year’s world-renowned gathering held August 12-21. “I love Monterey because of the people, the weather, and the energy that surrounds the world-class vehicles that are everywhere we look,” said Seth Burgett, founder and CEO of Gateway Bronco.

“It’s an exciting Monterey Car Week this year because it’s celebrating 100 years of Le Mans. There are great new developments as Hagerty, one of our partners, will debut its launch of Motorlux. Gordon McCall has put on a great event for 30 years, and now Hagerty is taking it to the next level.”

Gateway Bronco contributes to the excitement of Monterey with its own new product offerings. “This is a celebration every year for our team. We meet with our clients, enjoy the great events throughout the week, meet with industry leaders and this is the event we choose to unveil our annual product launches,” Burgett said.

Innovation will be the watchword for Gateway Bronco’s presence in Monterey. Seth Burgett will be on-hand to debut the latest product offerings and talk about his Consumer Centric Design philosophy. “What we have on display at Monterey this year is our latest halo product — a Sky Blue LUXE-GT that incorporates a new design for our Ranger Stripe package, a design made famous by Gateway Bronco,” he said.

Quality design hits its stride when paired with world-class engineering, and those qualities will be on display at Monterey in the form of Gateway Bronco’s patent pending Power Retractable Hard Top. “It is a hard top, but at the push of a button it is a soft top. This is only available from Gateway Bronco. It was conceived by Seth and engineered by the team to be OEM Quality at the push of a button,” Burgett said. “It addresses needs for owners in coastal areas who need rain protection but want instant open air exposure.”

The features under the skin of this Bronco are just as intriguing as the exterior. “It has the latest suspension with Active Ride Control system. The ROUSH Performance supercharger was developed with Roush and Ford Performance engineers working directly with our Gateway Bronco team.”

The interior also reflects that attention to detail, genuine Porsche leather with houndstooth inserts, and Gateway Bronco’s exclusive barnwood bed. “It is a timeless design that works really well in this overall package,” Burgett said.

The company’s new 3D configurator will make its debut in Monterey as well. The configurator will soon be a part of Gateway Bronco’s website, allowing enthusiasts to design and configure their dream Bronco online. In Monterey, attendees will be able to get a hands-on demonstration of this feature on a large TV screen with photo-realistic resolution.
