Summer Heat Wave

For most, summer is well on its way out the door with fall on the horizon. But some people opt to carry a little bit of summer with them year-round.

One such person is the owner of the Fuelie Edition Gateway Bronco shown here. With its custom yellow color, it emanates a solid beach vibe and is a living embodiment of endless summer days. But this Bronco wasn’t created simply to reflect a mood. The owner, an attorney based in Florida, wanted something to replace his Jeep and be a personal reward for the long, hard work of building his practice and serving his community.

“The goal was to build something unique to drive up and down the coast between his law offices,” said Gateway Bronco CEO Seth Burgett “The result is truly the ultimate beach cruiser.”

Central to the owner’s vision of a dream Bronco was the head-turning custom yellow color. “He created the color and we brought it to life,” Burgett continued.

Complementing the special color are custom wheels built specifically for Gateway Bronco, a San Felipe roll bar, power retractable steps, and genuine Porsche Tarpan Brown leather on the high-back bucket seats, dash and center console. The Shelby GT350 Sport Steering Wheel adds a touch of warmth and character to the interior. The patented, powered convertible soft top delivers shade on those rare days when a break from the sunshine is needed, and air conditioning with in-dash vents does the rest.

This beach cruiser is powered by a Coyote 5.0-liter V8 with active tuned exhaust with push button control. It is teamed with a 10-speed automatic transmission for smooth and precise shifts. Bringing this Bronco down from highway speeds to beach speeds are 4-wheel disc brakes by Wilwood.

“This resto mod SUV was bespoke built by the master craftsmen at Gateway Bronco with a set of features that our customers find satisfies all of their needs,” Burgett said. “The owner cherishes and takes a lot of pride in his ‘trophy truck’. And he deserves this wonderful reward.”
