Bespoke vehicles have always been created for people who value intention. Long before customization became a mainstream concept, coachbuilders like Bugatti, Duesenberg, Zagato and Figoni et Falaschi built one off vehicles for clients who wanted something personal, engineered and enduring.
Gateway Bronco works within that same tradition today.
Every Bronco begins with a simple question. How will this vehicle live in the owner’s world? The answer shapes everything that follows. Design, engineering and execution are guided by real use, not trends or templates. The result is a Bronco that feels purposeful from the first drive.
“Customization is the foundation of every Bronco we build,” said CEO and Founder Seth Burgett. “When a design truly resonates, we may produce a very limited run. But our focus is always relevance to the owner, not volume.”
Designed to Be Driven
A Gateway Bronco is built to integrate modern capability without disrupting the character that made the original iconic. Technology is applied where it adds value and disappears where it does not.
Clients can choose from proprietary convertible tops, exposed carbon fiber components, advanced audio systems, modern safety features and a wide range of interior materials including Italian leather, American Bison, heritage plaids and reclaimed barn wood. Paint finishes range from historically correct tones to Paint-to-Sample Glasurit applications.
The end result is a vehicle that fits naturally into everyday life. It feels just as appropriate on an early morning drive before the roads fill as it does arriving at a private club or handling the rhythm of family schedules. It is meant to be driven often and enjoyed fully.
“Our clients want performance and reliability, but they want it to feel intentional,” Burgett said. “Nothing should look added on. Everything should feel like it belongs.”

Collaboration Without Excess
Every Gateway Bronco is shaped through direct collaboration with the design team. Design sessions take place inside the Design Center, with immediate access to materials, finishes and production components. Clients can also experience the proprietary chassis firsthand.
For those who design remotely, sessions are focused and efficient. Gateway Bronco uses digital tools adapted from fashion and industrial design to guide material selection and layout. The company’s advanced 3D configurator allows clients to visualize highly detailed builds from anywhere in the world.
One recent Bronco, designed entirely through virtual sessions for a client in Ireland, featured a custom Ombre exterior developed specifically for that vehicle.
“Most of our clients are short on time,” Burgett said. “Design sessions are meant to be productive and decisive.”
How a Gateway Bronco Comes Together
While every Bronco is unique, each progresses through the same core phases. The vehicle moves forward step by step, allowing craftsmanship and engineering to unfold in sequence.
The process begins with model selection and initial personalization goals. Once the purchase order and down payment are secured, production capacity is reserved.
Design follows. Materials, finishes and layouts are finalized, creating the blueprint that carries the build forward.
Fabrication focuses on structure and strength. The vehicle is engineered and reinforced to support long term durability.
Auto body and paint come next. The body is stripped to bare metal, refined and finished through a multi step paint process designed for depth and longevity.
Assembly brings the Bronco to life. Mechanical systems, wiring and interior materials are installed. “First Fire” marks the initial engine start, followed by an extensive road test program.
Delivery completes the journey. Vehicles arrive via enclosed transport, with ongoing ownership support available through the Flying Doctor program. Warranty coverage varies by configuration and can extend up to ten years, with transferability available.

Built in Limited Numbers
Gateway Bronco builds a limited number of vehicles each year. This allows each project to move forward with focus and care.
A recent example includes a 1970 Bronco designed for a working family ranch and debuted at Monterey Car Week. Finished in classic red with Ranger stripes, Porsche leather and the proprietary Freedom Top, the vehicle combined heritage design with independent suspension, traction control and modern stability systems.
Whether designed in person or from across the globe, each vintage Bronco is built with the same intent.
At Gateway Bronco, the goal is not excess. It is alignment. A vehicle that fits the owner’s life so naturally it feels like it has always belonged there.
